Idle Hands got together in Limerick in 2003. Ever since then they have been creating a reputation for themselves as being one of the hardest working bands in the Country, by winning The JD Set twice in a row, in 2005 and 2006. In 2005 they recorded their self titled EP containing 3 tracks. This was instantly a hit with the Limerick music scene and gained them many fans, not just in Limerick but all over Ireland. After a review in Hot Press magazine, they were invited to play support with Donegal rockers, The Revs at a local gig in Limerick. In the summer of 2006 Idle Hands began recording their debut album with Owen Lewis of Breakline Productions. Under the production of Owen Lewis (who has worked with some massive names in the business including, SNOW PATROL, GOD IS AN ASTRONOUT, BOUNCING SOULS, THE EDITORS, JACKNIFE LEE (PRODUCER OF BLOC PARTY, U2), SHAY LAWLOR (DIRECTOR)) they created an 11-track album. In March 2007, and released the album, entitled "Ready For More" to a sell-out crowd at Dolan's Upstairs in Limerick.
