THE STORY SO FAR!!
Dave Fannings very first session in RTÉ 2FM was with a young, four-piece Dublin band called U2 and Dave's friendship with and support for the band led to Dave's listeners deciding on the A and B sides of the band's first single release. Over the last couple of decades Dave has fronted over twenty television programmes for Ireland's national television station RTÉ. Dave has recorded interviews with just about every major (and many minor!) music personality of the past few decades. Christmas '05 he released an Ireland- only release triple album called 'Dave Fanning's Fab 50'. Currently, sales stand at 1-and-a-half times platinum.
