Venetian Blue was formed by three Cork City based musicians because of the mutual love and passion they share for acoustic music and in particular the acoustic guitar. They each have their own individual style and technique however something magical happens when they blend their musical ideas together. Their material consists of original compositions by Steve and carefully chosen songs & instrumental pieces, all of which are complimented by the warm natural vocals of Steve & Siobhan and the beautiful guitar playing of Steve, Ger & Siobhan. They are currently working on a CD so stay tuned.....
Along the way Steve & Ger supported blues legends Sonny Terry & Brownie Mcghee and Siobhan supported Maura O' Connell, Sonny Condell & Paul Brady.
