HEARTSTRINGS is Maciej Telezynski, guitarist and singer from Gdansk, Poland. In his songs we can fined a lot of nostalgic melancholies and longing. These ballads are evoking Bon Iver, Alexi Murdoch and Elliot Smith.
Heartstrings creates unhurried, quietly flowing songs that could be a great film music. His works are characterized by an interesting, slightly 'dusty' vocals and the beautiful, melodic guitar motives. Melody and simplicity are qualities that can take advantage of the few Polish artists. Heartstrings doing it really great. As the beginning of HEARTSTRINGS you can take the Autumn of 2004, when the Elliot Smith's album called "From The Basement On The Hill" was published posthumously.

HEARTSTRINGS to tak naprawdę Maciej Teleżyński, gdański gitarzysta i piosenkarz. W jego piosenkach można znaleźć wiele nostalgicznych melancholii i tęsknoty. Są to ballady przywołujące na myśl Bon Ivera, Alexiego Murdocha czy Elliota Smitha. Heartstrings tworzy nieśpieszne, spokojnie płynące utwory, które mogłyby być świetną muzyką filmową. Jego utwory cechuje ciekawy, lekko „przykurzony" wokal i piękne, melodyjne gitarowe motywy. Melodyjność i prostota to cechy, które potrafi wykorzystać niewielu polskich artystów. Heartstrings robi to naprawdę wyśmienicie. Jako początek "HEARTSTRINGS" można przyjąć jesień 2004 roku, kiedy to ukazał się na rynku wydany pośmiertnie album Elliot'a Smith'a "From The Basement On The Hill".
