North Korea's new leader Kim Jong-un made a visit to a privileged school for the children of the party and military elite on January 24, the second day of Lunar New Year.
Video provided by state media KRT showed Kim's visit to the "Red Flag Mangyongdae Revolutionary School".
Kim's visit to the school is seen as part of efforts to boost his popularity amongst the elite in the reclusive state after he took the leadership following the death of his father, late "Dear Leader" Kim Jong-il.
The young Kim, believed to be 27-years-old, was named the "Great Successor" after his father's death last month.
