Man kills cancer-stricken wife, self in harbor suicide

A Taiwanese man who couldn't bear to see his terminally ill wife suffer any longer killed himself and his wife when he drove the family car off a pier and into the sea. Lee Jian-cheng, 51, called his sister shortly before the couple's suicide plunge and asked her to look after their three children. He then hung up the phone and drove off the pier at Hsingta Port in Kaoshiung County.
