Militant gunmen killed around ten people in a Lahore hospital on Monday in a failed attempt to rescue an injured fellow militant, police said. The men burst into the Jinnah Hospital on Monday evening shooting indiscriminately, killing visitors, security and police, as they headed toward the intensive care unit where their companion was being treated following Friday's deadly attacks on two mosques in the city. The gunmen, one of whom was injured in the attack, fled after police reinforcements arrived at the scene, according to witnesses.
