It was the night of shinning stars. Sunday night saw the entire entertainment industry, in full attendance, as they made a beeline to Bhavan's College grounds, to usher the first awards of the New Year with the 2nd Big Star Entertainment Awards 2011. It was a constellation of stars who stepped out in their finery to cheer, applaud and appreciate some of the most memorable and remarkable performers of the year. The award this year also saw the introduction of a new social category -- male, female and film -- which honoured the talent of those who entertained audiences with a message. Contending for this slot was none other than the Mega Star Amitabh Bachchan for Aarakshan, Rani Mukherjee for No One Killed Jessica, Nandita Das for I AM.
