The enemy is no longer the Soviet Union, but China. In the movie, the mighty Chinese army invades a small town in the US. The only ones who could stop them are a group of plucky high-school students. But when they considered the Chinese box office, the execs got cold feet and changed the baddies from Chinese to North Koreans digitally in post-production.
