NUZ is a Haitian Kompa band made up of two soulful singers and a rhythm section like no other. Nuz music can be described as new generation Kompa blended with R&B and soul. Their lyrics are a seamless balance of English, French and Creole. The band's front men are singers Christopher Antoine and Sean David. Both known for adding unique flavor to traditional Kompa music, their distinctive interpretation of Kompa comes from their roots in Haiti, France and New York. He prides himself in the way he uses his words to paint a scenario in an original way that is different from what people are used to hearing. Being the romantic that he is, he makes sure that he emphasizes romance in his songs as well as life lessons. With a heavy influence of Zouk/Kompa genre and inspirations such as Maxwell, Neyo, and Kassav, Sean's heartfelt writing pulls you into his world and you feel what it's like to walk his walk, sing his song, and live vicariously through him.
