Jennifer Lopez named Women of the Year

The U.S magazine Glamour held its annual Women of the Year ceremony to pay tribute to brave and inspiring women who are changing the world. This year's honorees included women from the small and big the big screen, as well as mix of politics and fashion.
Jennifer Lopez was recognized for effortlessly transcending through the world of music, film, fashion and beauty. On the red carpet the New York native said she was thrilled to be honored.

"It's such a beautiful thing and I just love this event. I love women honoring other women, I love women in support of other women and their accomplishments. For me it's been an amazing year and to end it in this way, you know, since it's a yearly thing, it just really feels really great."
The night was a family affair for the Bushes, former first lady Laura Bush was joined by her twin daughters, Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Bush, to accept the generations award.
