Turkish girl pulled from rubble alive

Rescue teams in Turkey, pulled out a nine-year old girl and an 18 year-old man, both trapped for over 30 hours under rubble, after a 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit.
The pair were rescued in the town of Ercis, which was worst hit by Sunday's quake.
18-year-old Mesut Ozan Yilmaz survived for 32 hours, under the rubble of a tea house where he had been passing time with friends. Nine-year-old Sifa was rescued alive, after spending 34 hours under the rubble.
By late Monday, the death toll had crept up to 279, but hundreds more were still missing, with casualties concentrated in the town of Ercis and the provincial capital, Van.
Officials have yet to confirm fatalities in outlying villages.
