Peter Pilotto Show - London Fashion Week Spring 2012 LFW

http://www.FTV.com/videos LONDON - Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos, designers for the brand named after Pilotto, were said to be inspired by a trip to Indonesia. That meant you'd be seeing a lot of color in this Spring/Summer 2012 collection and the colors that have been seen in many New York Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week collections alike--orange, blue, jewel tones. But it wasn't just the colors that spoke to the tropical travel color theme. It was also a certain print that kept repeating, and it was showcased in various colors palettes. There were florals, of course, but they too brought out the tropical element. The skirts in the collection had a sort of aquatic feel which was enhanced by their great attention to scuplture and architectural detail which added an element of sophisticated and real mastery of design. Jacquards, special cut pieces, and scuba motifs also added to the watery sophistication vibe. With a collab that included famed shoe designer Nicholas Kirkwood, this collection was certainly top notch.
