For the race on the Sepang circuit fitness is a key factor for the drivers. Wearing full race suits and fireproof underwear, helmet and balaclava, the temperature in this tight cockpit can get up to 50 or 60 degrees Celsius. Only through a small cut in the nose can a light airflow enter the car. Over the entire distance the driver looses up to four litres of liquid. So physically this race is a huge challenge.
