Rescuers work to free trapped miners in Wales

Emergency workers rush to free four miners trapped underground in a coal mine in south Wales.
Initial reports said seven men were caught in the small private mine in the Swansea Valley, but three have since managed to escape. One of them is now in the hospital.
Police say the miners' passage is not blocked by earth, but by water...and efforts are now underway to drain it.
The Miner's Advice web site states that the mine operates under a steep hill above a river bank.
Police did not comment on whether rescuers have established contact with the miners.
