Anyway, the first thing that we did was, I said that the cards could be shuffled. Well, you really just tell people that they can be shuffled if you like. That gives it in their mind that they could have shuffled but they did not need to be shuffled, so, make it very non-shalant. First thing you want is you want the card that is going to be your target card on top of the deck. OK. And in the deck of cards, you have a duplicate from another deck of cards of that card. OK. Now, you probably want to keep the back of the card colors the same or else, you are going to look kinda stupid. Or it is a totally different trick. So then, you close up that box. You have this deck of cards right here and you tell them to cut the cards for you. They cut the cards anywhere they like. The only thing you need to remember is which half is the top half of the deck of cards. You are going to take the bottom half of the deck, place it on the top half, saying you are marking where your card is at.' That gives them a marker in their head that cuts the actions. You say, 'do you know what card that is. I did not either.' Oh, it is the ace of clubs. It can be any card, it does not really matter. Do you know what card this is? They go, 'no.' You lift it up. You know it is the ace of spades already. You put it back down. Shuffling the cards gives it more misdirection and time. So, when you shuffle them, it does absolutely nothing because all the work is actually done at this point. You just have to be amazing at this point. Show off a couple of your skills. Make a card jump up in the air. Maybe not. Ok. Whatever you like to do. Anyway, what you do is you take it, hi the deck of card, open up the deck of cards, pull out that card. And then, you look amazing. That is it.
