TOTP Chart Rundown, Thursday 22nd July 1976

Well here's the hairy cornflake with his sunglasses again on another heatwave edition of TOTP from 1976. However Elton John & Kiki Dee climbed up to the top spot in the U.K. charts as of this week as it gave him his first solo number-one, but he didn't reach the peak of getting a soloist number-one until 1990, as it remained his only number-one at that time with Kiki Dee as one-hit wonders, but they returned again in 1993 with 'True Love'.
