The Cannes International Film Festival 2011 day 1 had a lot to offer. This year's jury has its share of major stars -- jury chairman Robert De Niro, Uma Thurman and Jude Law. The opening ceremony started with the red carpet premiere of director Woody Allen's film Midnight In Paris along with the actors in the film. Actors Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek arrived for a photo call for their movie Puss In Boots. Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was also seen heating up the carpet.
