Gay blood donation - Newsnight discussion

BBC Newsnight discussion (Tuesday 19th April 2011) about whether the life ban on gay men donating blood is scientifically justified or whether it is based on prejudice. The ban is under review at the moment. Includes a report by Susan Watts. Just after his introduction to the report Jeremy Paxman winked to Michael Crick which did not go unnoticed on Twitter. The discussion guests were Professor Ian Franklin, Medical Director of the Irish Blood Transfusion Service and Peter Tatchell.
