The stars of The King's Speech have been in Germany for a screening of the movie at the Berlin Film Festival.

Colin Firth, who picked up a BAFTA for Best Actor, Helena Bonham-Carter who was awarded Best Supporting Actress and director Tom Hooper were on the Red Carpert.

With the excitement of the Oscars looming, the cast are getting ready to fly to Los Angeles for the ceremony where they've got 12 nominations.

Helena Bonham-Carter who plays the Queen mother says she can't quite believe the success of the movie:

"I think everyone involved in the film is actually bewildered by the phenomenon of the film. This is it, it's a phenomenon. So I think it'll take time to settle in, but it is so exciting."

Colin Firth, who plays King George VI says he can't put his finger on why it's done so well:

"If we knew the secret we would do it every time. We did it as honestly as we could, we did it with a great deal of enthusiasm, there was an incredible bit of work from our director, really, just making sure that nothing was left unexplored, so we just kept chipping away at the material until we believed in it enough."
