PFE Taztag: Etude de produits équipés en NFC et Zigbee

La société Taztag a conçu du matériel mobile équipé de différentes
technologies émergentes (NFC, Zigbee, capteurs biométriques).
La technologie NFC est une alternative à la RFID tandis que le Zigbee constitue une alternative au Bluetooth et au Wifi. Elles ont toutes deux l’avantage d’être à basse consommation. De grandes entreprises telles que Nokia, Samsung, Motorola et Google ont déjà intégré ces technologies.
Le projet consiste à exploiter le produit Taztag et à découvrir le potentiel lié aux technologies qu’il utilise.
Des applications utilisant ces deux technologies ont pu être développées. Il est possible d’échanger des informations entre les différents terminaux. Cela peut se faire à courte portée, à moins de 4 cm avec la NFC ou bien à plus grande portée avec le Zigbee, permettant des échanges jusqu’à 10 m.

The Taztag company released an embedded system using different emergent technologies (NFC, Zigbee, capteurs biométriques).
The NFC technology is an alternative to the RFID whether the Zigbee constitues an alternative to Bluetooth and Wifi. They both have the advantage of being low consumption. Important companies such as Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and Google have already integrated these technologies.
The project consists in exploring the Taztag product and in discovering the potential link with the technologies it uses.
We have developed 2 applications using these two technologies. Information can be exchanged between two devices. This can be done either at short range, up to 10cm using NFC, or at long range, up to 10 meters using Zigbee.
