The Australians nicknamed him "The King of the Time": and he, Fabian Cancellara, offered them yet another demonstration of his class. In Geelong, the Swiss has become the first rider in history to win the time trial title four times: an amazing feat to which can be added his Olympic victory in Beijing and above all, the Tour of Flanders -- Paris-Roubaix double at the beginning of the season.
Cancellara, who announced just a few days ago his intention to race in Australia, easily dominated the event, covering the 45,6km course in an average of 47,048km/h, leaving all his rivals more than a minute behind.
