Este videoclip NO es oficial y por lo tanto no refleja necesariamente el sentir politico del autor del tema musical, esto es, Ricardo Arjona. Este video lo realizo un fan del cantautor de Guatemala.
El tema musical pertenece a su disco "Galeria Caribe".
¿Sabias que el FBI y la CIA lo estuvo investigando por esta cancion? La Agencia Federal (FBI) estadounidense considero que Ricardo Arjona estaria en conocimiento de los atentados de Nueva York y Manhattan, el 11 de septiembre del 2001.
RA: "Si, hubo. Aunque parezca extraño, hubo un acercamiento de algun agente que escribio sobre mi persona"- Palabras de Arjona en una conferencia de prensa, un mes despues de los atentados a las Torres Gemelas de Nueva York y al Pentagono, al responder a una pregunta sobre contactos de la Oficina Federal de Investigaciones (FBI) con sus colaboradores.
"No paso a mas, yo creo que fue un requisito que se le pidio a un agente y tuvo que darle seguimiento. Yo no hable con ellos, hablaron con la gente que trabaja conmigo."
Ricardo Arjona aseguro que solamente fue una coincidencia lo del 11-S, pues "no creo en la
cancion como profecia". "Nunca me he considerado un constructor de canciones; me he considerado un tipo que soy 'victima del entorno'. Incluso del surrealismo como la cancion Mesias", argumento mi conciudadano.
Incluso, debido a esa cancion, lo apodaron "el mesias chapin" (guatemalteco). Arjona dijo aquella vez que desconocia si el mundo cambio luego de los atentados, pero aseguro que "yo creo que uno de los cambios mas importantes es que los norteamericanos empezaran a sentir cosas que no conocian".

Have you noticed that when some great tragedy strikes any nation in the world, it happens that by coincidence a previously created work of art, fiction or music will be seen as a foretelling?
Well, listen to this: maybe one of the most famous examples of this was a short story called "Futility" by Morgan Robertson that eerily foretold the sinking of the Titanic. In the story, written 12 years before the Titanic disaster, Robertson wrote of a ship called the Titan that met its fate by striking an iceberg on its starboard side and sinking. In size and capacity, along with many other parallels, the Titan's resemblance to Titanic is uncanny.
Similarly, song lyrics and an album cover was cited back in 2001 as being predictive of the WTC attack. A song called "Mesias" (Messiah), written and performed by Guatemalan-born pop artist Ricardo Arjona, contains lyrics that have some interesting similarities - or rather (in Literature) "foreshadowing" - to the WTC case. It reads:
"The Messiah was born in New York / He drives an armored car out of precaution / The Pope fears some massive loss... / [The Messiah] is preparing a blow, and no one knows the date... / He has an associate in Japan, another in Afghanistan / He speaks with God daily through the Internet / He promotes changes and he's made enemies. / The Church accuses him of heresy / And the Pentagon [accuses him] of [being a] terrorist... / It's on the front page of the New York Times / And a cloud of doubt casts a shadow on the sun."
There was an immediate reaction across Latin America, and USA, to this famous song, "Mesias" by Ricardo Arjona. He was even called 'a relatively radical Guatemalan'. The song "Mesias" came out in Aug 2000.

On Sept. 11, 1990, the senior George Bush mentioned before Congress the phrase "A New World Order" for the first time.
