The story line follows a chance meeting of two old friends on a southbound train heading down to Abilene Texas. They describe how their lives have changed & it's not like it used to be, when they were young, free & wild renegades. They further inform us, that they both have kids & wish they themselves,were eighteen again, when they would dance, sing & wouldn't give a damn about anything. How they would drink the night away & the parties they had seemed to last for days. The end shows us that their boys have turned out to be just as rowdy as them.
