Mumbai hosts Bollywood's Star Screen Awards

India's entertainment capital Mumbai played host to the Indian film ceremony, The Star Screen Awards.

Bollywood star Arshad Warsi picked up a gong for Best Male Supporting Actor.

The actor said: "It feels great when you do such hard work in a movie, and when you get appreciation for your hard work, when the jury pats your back, and says, 'You have done good job,' then it feels great."

Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif was thrilled to bag the Best Female Actor Popular Choice Award, the star said: "It's a very special event for me. If I am not mistaken, this is my fourth year consecutively that I am performing with the Screen Awards, and we always have a lot of fun. Stage is amazing and the crowd is always there to support you."

Other winners were actor Salman Khan, who received the Best Male Actor Award for his blockbuster movie 'Dabangg', and Shahrukh Khan, who scooped the Best Male Actor Popular Choice Award for his film, My Name Is Khan.

Actress Vidya Balan won the Best female Actor award for Ishqiya.
