Seven Thai prisoners detained in a Cambodian prison were granted a visit by their relatives on Monday.

The seven are charged with crossing into Cambodia without permission last Thursday. They are also accused of entering a Cambodian military zone.

Most of the seven are members of the People's Alliance for Democracy, a group also called the yellow shirts. The yellow-shirts are known for whipping up nationalistic sentiment over border disputes with Cambodia. There is no information on whether the relatives will remain in Cambodia for another meeting.

Thai media reports that thousands of protesters are making their way to Sa Kaeo Province to stage a rally to campaign for their release.
