Pakistan providing sanctuary to pro-Khalistani militants

Chandigarh, November 15: Pro-Khalistan militants are trying to re-group in Indian Punjab. But, the police has been successful in foiling their attempts at creating instability. In 2010, many militants belonging to pro-Khalistani outfits like Babbar Khalsa International and Khalistan Commando Force were arrested with huge cache of arms and ammunition. Their interrogation revealed that they are using bases in Pakistan, Malaysia, Germany and some other countries to revive militancy in Indian Punjab. The arms and ammunition are being smuggled into the state from neighbouring Pakistan through the border in Punjab and Rajasthan.
