Jade Goody's mum accused of selling tributes

Jade Goody's mum Jackiey Budden has been accused of selling bears that were left on her daughter's grave for 50p at car boot sales.

The former drug addict was allegedly spotted selling the bears alongside toys belonging to Jade's children Freddy and Bobby, as well as pink bears from Jade's childhood.

Jackiey was reportedly overheard peddling the toys and saying: "These are from Jades grave."

Jobless Jackiey was banned from seeing her grandchildren in March after a video emerged of her taking cocaine while on holiday in Tenerife, despite swearing to Jade that she would never take drugs again. The boy's father Jeff Brazier only recently allowed her access to them again.

When questioned at her ground floor council flat, Jackiey is said to have admitted: "I was at the boot sale with a friend and we were selling at a stall. I sold lots of toys that were the boys. I didnt really think about it because I just put them in a bag and took them down there."

Jackiey currently lives on benefits including a disability allowance. After selling the toys she allegedly said, "Weve made enough money now, lets go down the pub."

When questioned about the incident, Jackiey's spokesman said: There were hundreds of bears and cuddly toys left outside Jade's house. When she was clearing out the house, Jackiey gave most of them to the local hospital. Others she sold. She says they were not from the grave and she says that she gave the money to charity."

Jade, who rose to fame on Big Brother, died of cancer on Mothering Sunday last year.
