Nadine Alexandra Dewi Ames, nickname Nadine, was crowned as Indonesian Princess 2010 at the Jakarta Convention Center on Friday.

The celebratory crown was pinned to Nadine's head by Miss Indonesia 2009, Qory Sandioriva, and by Miss Universe 2010, Ximena Navarette.

Nadine defeated 38 finalists from 33 provinces to gain the prestigious award.

Her victory rested on her response to the final question posed, where she discussed the sincere attitude required to handle the responsibilities of winning the title.

Nadine's victory has brought her an official car, prize money, a monthly salary, as well as various merchandises from participating sponsors. Nadine will also represent Indonesia in the Miss Universe Pageant 2011.
