With an 80 million strong, mostly Muslim population, thousands choose to make the trip from Egypt during Ramadan -- a month of daytime fasting and prayer. These trips also mean a chance for the country's tour operators to make some serious money. When fears of the H1N1 virus gripped many in 2009, numbers dropped off.
