Mexico: tourism threatens coral reefs

A massive plan to build hotels, homes, golf courses and a marina for luxury yachts on some of the finest beaches in Mexico’s Baja California peninsula has provoked outrage in the area. The land lies barely two hours away from the highly-developed luxury tourist resorts of Los Cabos and borders one of the world's most bio-diverse seas. Locals fear that their efforts, over 15 years, to bring back more marine life to the area's only coastal reef are now in danger of being reversed. Duration: 02:15
