The next few years will see some 26 billion euros spent on infrastructure in Poland, primarily on new motorways. A share of the funding comes from Brussels: Poland represents the largest economy of the newer accession countries and it continued to grow in recent years despite the global financial crisis.Improving its 'autostrada' is seen as a sound investment in the future.
