Chris Rock laughs in the face of Death

He is at the peak of his powers, with a host of films and stand-up tours under his belt, but Chris Rock is already thinking about kicking the bucket.

The star was forced comtemplate passing on due to the subject matter of his latest comedy Death At A Funeral.

"I hope my funeral has laughing gas. I think I'm going to get buried at a dentist's office and everybody's going to have the [masks] on," said the US star, 45.

"I'm going to pre-write my eulogy and put it on a prompter," he added.

Death At A Funeral sees Rock as a man organising the burial of his father. But the undertakers manage to bring the wrong body to the memorial and a comedy of errors ensues.

The story is based on a 2007 British film of the same name which fared well with the critics, but did little at the box office. But is Rock's effort an improvement?

"I don't know if it's better. I like British comedy. We kindof jazzed it up. Put a little hip-hop in it," he said.
