EastEnders - Kat gets sacked from Queen Vic

Kat is skiving and Peggy tells her off and Kat says she's been rushed off her feet. Jim says they can withdraw their labour if Peggy talks to them like that, and Peggy says no-one would notice the difference.
A customer makes a rude comment to Kat and she tells him to shut up and Peggy is annoyed and says she has to apologise to the customer. Peggy insists and Kat says OK, then grabs a fire extinguisher and sprays the man, and says "sorry". Audrey walks in to Dot's comment at how common Kat is.
Peggy says he was spending money - that pays her wages. Jim downs tools in sympathy. Peggy asks Barry if he's still looking for the job, and he can be manager if he makes sure he serves more than he drinks this time. Barry says yes, and Peggy says he must start right now, and his first job is to sack Kat and demote Jim back to potman.
