Who'd imagine that what was a very pretty latin instrumental could be given a more lively live recording at some stage? I don't know whether to prefer this take over the original. But at the end of the day, Carlos Santana is one amazing and influencial guitarist, so it can be pretty fun in a way. Shame that the song's almost too easy to sing, provided you know how to get around some of the shorter phrases.
