Barrick Gold in Papua Guinea and Police against Population

Just a reminder for Madagascan people. Be very cautious when dealing with those giant mining corporates. None of them, including Rio Tinto, hasn't done harm to indigenous people as in Papua New Guinea or on some New Zealand or Indonesia to name a few. They all are involved in condemnable actions with most of the time bought off police or army. In Madagascar, it seems that Rio Tinto subsidiary Qit etc..., had taken a new approach. They hired Manon Vasselette, a canadian biologist, as a moral caution. 3 years ago, she was interviewed by BBC and boldly underlined how different Rio Tinto approach of ecology had changed since when or since what? She didn't say. But what is juridically confirmed in some cases, some of those big mining corporates had killed, displaced and lied (not really against all odds, not really).
