Michel Mañanes plays Chopin Minute Waltz op.64 no.1 in Db. With recitals for Europe and south america specialy. He won first prize in several young piano competitions. He is Piano Teacher in Madrid and continue to give concerts.Michel Mañanes has obtained, recently, the University Title of "Expert in Pianistic Interpretation", gotten with "Cum Laudae" by Unanimous vote (International University of Andalusia)Chopin wrote the waltz in 1847 and published it in Leipzig the same year, as the first of the Trois Valses, Op. 64. The second waltz in the set is in the enharmonic parallel minor key of C sharp minor. He dedicated the Minute Waltz to Mme. la Comtesse Delphine Potocka.
