The Christmas and Holiday season can be difficult when those we love are not with us. Many people in the United States have loved ones in the Army, Airforce, Navy or Marines, who have been deployed to the wars in Iraq or Afganistan. Others, mourning the loss of loved ones, may find that the holidays can increase sadness and awareness of loss.
