Hundreds of millions of people depend on the Himalayan ice which provides fresh water via the River Ganges. Yet snow can be created by scientific 'cloud seeding' which is the process of spreading silver iodide in the atmosphere- proven in Beijing on the 1st November 2009. See article below.
