Donna Loren sings "It Only Hurts When I Cry" (1965)

Donna Loren in her original performance of "It Only Hurts When I Cry" from the classic AIP film "Beach Blanket Bingo". The song was written by Guy Hemric and Jerry Styner and produced by Al Simms and Tutti Camarata. Donna has recently renovated and rejuvenated this, her signature song, into a sultry, grown-up 21st century pop tune. Originally performed by Donna as a teenager in the film and again recorded for the LP of the same name, she has now reinterpreted the song as an adult, with style and intimacy.
