Pattaya GUARD DOGS ASSIST IN APPREHENDING GOLD THIEVES

Pattaya Police arrest three thieves with the help of two guard dogs, after a man was robbed at Kow Pratumnuk intersection, Pratumnuk Road, of a one baht weight gold. At 3.40pm, Pol. Lt. Col. Sutham CHowsritong, was notified by Mr. Jarun Suansamai (46), that he had just been robbed by three men riding two motorbikes. The police team along with Mr Jarun, gave chase, blocking off all possible exits. The three thieves, sped into Soi Gor Pai , where one of the bikes flipped over in front of the Prema Place condominium, leaving two of the thieves running in opposite directions. The police continued chasing the thieves on foot, catching the first man, identified as Mr. Siripong Pongpinit, (18), residing at 66/1 Moo. 10, Nongprue, Banglamung. The second thief climbed into a house, 360/17, near the 99 mansion, where he came face to face with two Thai dogs who attacked him, leaving bites on his body and a serious wound to his leg. The second thief was identified as Mr. Tanapong Projun, (18), residing at 226/6 Moo. 6 Nongprue, Banglamung. The dogs owner, Mr. Chompol Choosung, (57), told police that his dogs, I-Dum and I-Hode, were very fit and their duty was to guard the house, and today they did well. A one- baht weight gold was found with the two men, who confessed they had been in prison on numerous occasions for the same crime. Police later arrested the third thief, Mr. Suwan Inn-Pai, (29), residing at 179/2 Moo. 4 , Nong Yao, Nakornsawan with his motorbike hiding in a bush near Sukhumvit road, Soi 50/1.
