00:14Canyon Spirit is an offshoot of Canada's Rocky Mountaineer train company, which Australians

00:20love. It has been operating a two-day train journey between Moab and Denver since 2021,

00:28but an extension between Salt Lake City and Moab will be launched in April next year,

00:35and I'm here to preview it. The American Southwest is home to some of Earth's most

00:42visually arresting landscapes. Fiery red craters and canyons, dramatic rock formations and arches,

00:52and mass-like misas and hoodoos, carved by wind and water over thousands of millennia. Canyon Spirit

01:01glides its way through this breathtaking theater of Mother Nature. There are spellbinding views at

01:08every turn. But according to the company's COO, Tristan Armstrong, the best stretch of scenery is...

01:16Gore Canyon. It has soaring thousand-foot cliffs. It's absolutely a stunning stretch of track.

01:23By day, guests travel from one location to another in luxurious carriages with expansive windows that

01:33capture the views. My favorite spot is the vestibule, where you can soak up views like this without glass

01:41windows. Or make your way to the lounge car, where more incredible views await alongside delicious cocktails.

01:51When it's time to fuel up, gourmet meals are served at your seat.
