Separation (2021) tells the story of Jeff, a father struggling to care for his daughter, Jenny, after the death of her mother, Maggie, in an accident. They are both haunted by a mysterious entity connected to the world of Jeff's "Grisly Kin" dolls. Jenny, feeling lonely and lost, seeks solace in her dolls, who are alive and connected to the spirit world.
