01:09:24I vividly remember watching videos of Taylor Swift and then getting my guitar teacher to teach me how to play those songs
01:09:31and then just singing along with them every single day.
01:09:34I was just forcing family and friends to sit down and listen to me sing for years after that, so yeah.
01:09:42When I was 14 years old, I auditioned for another singing competition.
01:09:49I experienced quite a bit of backlash online and it took quite a big knock to my confidence.
01:09:57I remember spending a lot of time in the comment section and take every comment as pure fact.
01:10:06Not a great way for any 14 year old to be spending their days.
01:10:11I stepped away from music for a long time.

01:13:43And I had a few setbacks and I kind of stopped singing for a long time and I kind of realised one day that there is nothing else that I want to do in this world and in my lifetime
01:13:59I think you got the right idea there. You talked about setbacks that stopped you from singing, what were those setbacks?
01:14:19There was a point where I had sort of like online commentary about my voice and just about me and I think I just took it to heart because I was quite young at the time I was like 14 and you know I think when you're a 14 year old girl anything anybody says is going to hit home
01:14:38I'm sorry you had to deal with that but the thing is the better you get the more successful you are the more of those trolls will come at you so in a way you can take it as a compliment. That was absolutely fantastic.
