00:11In an interview with First Post in New Delhi on Wednesday, August 6, Marcos made it clear that he never refused to comment on Duterte's impeachment, reiterating that his role does not go beyond being a mere observer.
00:24He also made it very clear that the executive branch has very little role to play on the impeachment process.
00:32Additionally, Marcos said that political tensions rose and eventually toned down during and after the midterm elections last May.
00:40When asked for a reaction on the public death threat made against him by the Vice President last year, Marcos stated that his position had always come with death threats, and that he takes those threats seriously.
