00:00So I just want to say that when you actually first saw the footage of the emaciated Israeli hostages which were released by Hamas,

00:11what was your immediate reaction to this?

00:14And is there any way that Fatah and the PA are able to put pressure on Hamas to release the hostages

00:22and come to some sort of political solution inside of Gaza and Palestine?

00:30Of course, it's difficult and saddening to see anybody suffering.

00:33We refuse all kinds of starvation against our people or against even our enemies

00:38because this is an immoral way of dealing.

00:42Israel using starvation as a weapon of war is a crime of all crimes.

00:47This is a crime that happening in the 21st century reminds us of the dark ages.

00:51And we refuse based on our principles, based on our ethics, based on our cultural rules,

00:58even our religion to see these images.

01:00And I believe this is the result and the first responsible for these images is the Israeli occupation

01:07that prevent food from going to Gaza.

01:09And those prisoners are in Gaza.

01:11So, you know, logically, they are going to suffer as well.

01:14When Israel ban a baby formula, what in God's name is that?

01:20What could even justify banning baby formula, baby milk, from reaching the children of Gaza?

01:27That is a horror, a true horror, a true sadistic crime.

01:32And, of course, we have proposed many solutions.

01:35And we have endorsed the Arab plan.

01:37And we have been in talks with Hamas and Egypt and to go for a political process

01:44because we have to say that creating peace needs first to create a peaceful environment.

01:50It is Netanyahu that wanted negotiations under fire.

01:54It's Netanyahu that refuses to sit with the Palestinian liberation organization.

01:58It's Netanyahu that refuses Fatih or Hamas or any Palestinian partner.

02:08They want to create cantons, like in South Africa, apartheid,

02:14where, you know, clans rule in themselves, deprived from any rights or any opportunities.
