3,200 employees have hit the picket lines over a contract dispute.

00:00Boeing is dealing with yet another employee strike. 3,200 members of its defense unit hit
00:05the picket lines, marking the second strike Boeing has had to deal with in less than a year.
00:10The workers, all of whom are members of the International Association of Machinists,
00:14voted to strike after the union and Boeing were unable to reach an agreement on a new contract.
00:18This marks the first time the union has gone on strike in nearly 30 years.
00:22Boeing's defense unit brought in roughly 30 percent of the company's revenue in the first
00:26half of 2025. But CEO Kelly Ortberg isn't hitting the panic button, saying,
00:31I wouldn't worry too much about the implications of the strike. We'll manage our way through that.
00:36In 2024, over 30,000 Boeing workers who build commercial aircrafts went on strike for nearly
