00:00Previously on America's Next Top Model,
00:05Yaya struggled with the judge's feedback.
00:07You don't want to always look dancer, dancer, dancer, dancer, dancer.
00:10But that is 100% me.
00:12I'm starting to listen to them.
00:13Rumors of Cassie's eating disorder rippled through the house.
00:16But I don't want to talk about it anymore,
00:17and I don't want anyone else talking about it.
00:19Continued criticism broke Kelly down.
00:22But at the elimination, Kelly advanced,
00:24and it was Jennifer who was sent home.
00:27Only nine girls remain.
00:28Who will be eliminated tonight?
00:58Daddy, I don't have intensity in my eyes.
01:14I keep trying different things and thinking different things,
01:17and I don't know.
01:18Yesterday during elimination, I had another not-so-flattering photo.
01:24Kelly, your pictures have been literally some of the worst in the bunch.
01:29I don't know what to do, and it's like no matter how hard I try,
01:32I still don't get it.
01:34I just need help.
01:35Jen was eliminated out of all the girls here we had taught the most.
01:42I don't particularly get along with the rest of the girls in the house.
01:46I'm a loner, and I'm used to it, so I'll sit on my bed by myself, and I'll be fine.
01:49Trash, trash, trash, trash, trash.
01:54Look at the trash.
01:55It's like living with eight other beautiful pigs.
02:00Trash in there without a trash bag, leaving food on the counter.
02:03Come on.
02:04This morning, we're just piling trash around the garbage can.
02:08And we know who the people are.
02:10Blah, blah, blah, blah.
02:11Right now, Cassie is pretty much the sloppiest one with Diet Cokes and such.
02:16It's strewn about the house.
02:18She's the sloppiest slut.
02:24Wake up!
02:25I love that Tyra Banks came in a room and jumped on her beds to wake us up.
02:28Like, it makes me happy because she's like a real person.
02:31All righty, so today, I'm going to be talking about the modeling industry
02:34in terms of eating, body image, and the pressures to have to fit into a certain mold.
02:42I have a friend of mine.
02:44Her name is Kate Dillon.
02:45Kate and I used to model in Los Angeles and in Paris,
02:48and she's one of the top plus-size models in the industry.
02:52This is Kate Dillon.
02:58I've been a model since I was, gosh, 17 years old,
03:01and I was the first plus-size model ever to be in Vogue.
03:03I think I stared at Kate, like, the whole time, like,
03:06wow, that's going to be me.
03:07Like, I'm going to be the first black plus-size girl.
03:10I started out as a skinny model.
03:11In order to be a skinny model, you have to be skinny.
03:15And for me, it was really, really difficult.
03:17I actually had an eating disorder.
03:19I'd go days without eating or just maybe eating, you know,
03:21an apple or something like that.
03:23And I couldn't stay in the business as I was.
03:25I was unhealthy.
03:27I was miserable.
03:28And I ended up quitting the business.
03:29I gained, like, 50 pounds and ended up returning.
03:33But as a plus-size model, this might not be the right career for any of you.
03:37If it's not the right career for you,
03:39don't try to manipulate yourself at any cost to fit into it.
03:42In a way, you guys are athletes because you have to work on your body.
03:45You have to stay in shape.
03:46And your careers are temporary.
03:48So we're going to talk today about how to do this healthily.
03:51And we have a woman here that is going to talk to you about that even further.
03:56Hey!
03:57I'm coming to right here.
03:58For over 15 years, I've been working with models,
04:00helping them to manage their weight.
04:02It's all about balancing, moderation, and consistency.
04:06Well, I do low carb.
04:09Nobody needs to be afraid of carbohydrate,
04:11contrary to what the rest of the world is preaching right now.
04:14These are the foods that you need to moderate but not eliminate.
04:18I want to know if anybody wants to do, like, a one-on-one with the three of us.
04:21Well, I want to do a one-on-one with you sometime.
04:23So if everyone else can go into the bedrooms for now.
04:27You know, if I want to be a model, I feel like I should be skinny.
04:31I won't say that I have a disorder, but I worry about what I eat 24-7.
04:36Do you ever feel that it gets out of control
04:39and then you do a whole guilt head trip on yourself?
04:41I have had several times where I've grown up in the past,
04:44but I never considered myself bulimic because I didn't throw up after every meal
04:49and I would just do it at night if I thought I ate too much
04:52and I shouldn't go to bed with it in my stomach.
04:54I get nervous when I hear that you've thrown up.
04:56Did you ever talk to anybody about that?
04:58Mm-mm.
04:58Maybe we should explore having you talk to somebody
05:01only because it could really spiral out of control.
05:04Especially in this environment with the pressure and the critique.
05:09I don't feel like I can talk to someone and they will know how I feel.
05:13You can tell me I shouldn't do that all you want,
05:15but if I feel like I'm still going to do it, I'm never going to be helped.
05:22At least she would have.
05:24People with eating disorders are hardcore.
05:27CJ.
05:28What's up?
05:30I think they want me to go to a counselor.
05:33Why?
05:34For you know what?
05:35They know?
05:36Mm-hmm.
05:37How?
05:38I had to tell them.
05:39If I'm feeling that I'm happy and I'm doing fine
05:42and this is making me happy by doing this,
05:44then that's all that matters to me.
05:56Girls, there's food out there.
05:58It's just like fruit and salad.
06:00It's not like a bunch of meals.
06:01The small cake.
06:03It's brownies.
06:04Cassie had made brownies, you know, low-carb brownies.
06:08They can only be Cassie's because we eat low-carb brownies.
06:10Which are $6 a bag, which is very expensive for a little thing of brownies.
06:15And they were sitting on the counter with all of her stuff out that she used to make them.
06:19Ah!
06:20So, is your oil finished?
06:22I will not cook in a kitchen that's dirty.
06:23Like, that is disgusting.
06:25This place is so frustrating.
06:26It's disgusting.
06:27Like, why is this just laying here?
06:29Yeah.
06:30Yeah.
06:30So, we should draw it and put, Cassie, clean your dishes.
06:34Is that rude?
06:34No, that doesn't ruin it.
06:36We're just drawing it.
06:38A little icon.
06:40I wrote with a knife in her brownies.
06:44I'm like, Eva, you can be the patrol person
06:46because we have to make sure no one is coming.
06:51Eva, I can't put dishes.
06:54Clean your...
06:55Come on.
07:01Clean your...
07:02Can you read that?
07:03Yes.
07:04Yes.
07:05I should have read, eat some carbs.
07:10I do have a sense of humor.
07:12I thought maybe Cassie had one, too.
07:16It's so mind-boggling to me because who writes in someone's food?
07:21Who wrote that?
07:22I don't know.
07:22Someone had the audacity to mutilate her precious brownies.
07:27Do you really piss about them brownies?
07:29I am because who touches people's food like that.
07:31It's like me sticking my hands all in your chicken breast or something.
07:34Shut the...
07:35What?
07:35Shut the thing.
07:37Hold on, hold on, hold on.
07:38I'm trying to be sneaky.
07:39Hey, man.
07:40Hi there.
07:41Did you write in my brownies?
07:42I don't know.
07:43Did you know who did?
07:44No.
07:44Okay.
07:45Just checking.
07:46I questioned everyone in the house.
07:47I just said, did you write in my brownies?
07:49I will tell you if I did, but I didn't.
07:51That's fine.
07:52I just...
07:52You didn't.
07:53Not I.
07:54Eva was like, it wasn't me, but she was kind of hinting that she knew it was someone else,
07:59and who else is under Eva's butt the whole time except Ann?
08:02Did you write in my cake?
08:03Eva said no, you say no, and Amanda said no, so...
08:06Nope.
08:08I don't want to fess up to that.
08:09It was one of those girls.
08:10Duh.
08:11She's so fess.
08:12I know.
08:13She's mad.
08:15And I don't care.
08:18I'm wearing a shirt for you.
08:21Respecto.
08:22In Portuguese, que dice respect.
08:24Like, falta de respeto.
08:26In this house, there's no respect.
08:29No one would admit to the incident, the brownie gate 04.
08:35I cannot help a traffic.
08:37Someone needs to tell me who stuck their damn finger in my brownies,
08:47and then they need to buy me some more brownies.
08:49Nicole didn't do it.
08:51And Amanda didn't do it.
08:53And Kelly didn't do it.
08:55And Sakari didn't steal the cookies from the cookie jar.
08:58And Yaya didn't steal the cookies from the cookie jar.
09:00And Rami didn't steal the cookies from the cookie jar.
09:02Yep, yep, yep.
09:03And Eva didn't steal...
09:05I see y'all at dinner.
09:10Oh!
09:11I see y'all at dinner.
09:12It's gonna be some drama.
09:20So we get to the dinner, and everything is kind of like fine, thin, thin, and looks over at Yaya.
09:25And she says, where does your shirt meet?
09:28Yaya, what is that?
09:29It's respeto.
09:30In Portuguese, it's respect.
09:32It's a big lack of it in the house, so I felt the need to wear it today.
09:35Cassie's brownies were fingered.
09:38I just think that there's immaturity and respect in the house, and that was exactly...
09:40Why is it immature?
09:41Why is it immature?
09:42Who writes in food?
09:43Who writes in...
09:44Okay, well, I was gonna say something to you anyways.
09:46I did that today to be funny.
09:47It wasn't to be...
09:48It wasn't funny at all.
09:49I didn't do it to hurt you, or...
09:51Because I don't like you.
09:52You should never have to go eat it.
09:52Okay, that's fine.
09:53It was a joke.
09:54I'm sorry.
09:54I was trying to be funny.
09:56I thought you could...
09:56I thought you would think it was funny.
09:58Do you have a relationship with Cassie where you thought that she honestly would think
10:01it was funny?
10:01Maybe if you did it to Eva, you'd be like, ha, ha, ha.
10:04Okay, well, I guess I look at it as if one of you guys did it to me, I'd laugh.
10:07Some people think it's funny to kill people.
10:09That doesn't make it funny.
10:10Okay, well, I'm sorry that you're so mature and that you have no sense of humor.
10:14I mean, we don't have to be hostile to each other, but don't touch my stuff because it's
10:17not funny to me.
10:17Okay, well, when you were making yourself throw up and you didn't want anyone to talk
10:20about it, you said that, and we stopped talking about it.
10:22That's fine.
10:23So stop talking about me because I don't like it.
10:25I'm gonna talk about you.
10:25I'll tell you that now.
10:26Well, then I'm gonna talk about how you're bulimic.
10:28That's great.
10:28I'll tell Ty her tomorrow.
10:30She knows.
10:30That was actually what we talked about today.
10:31Good.
10:31Let's try this.
10:32Not on my...
10:33Everybody wash your own dishes.
10:34Clean your dishes.
10:35Don't be a pig.
10:36That's disgusting.
10:37Who wants to live with your dishes in the same room?
10:39Who wants to live with you, Anne?
10:40Okay, well, don't touch my...
10:42I don't need you to tell me to wash my...
10:44I don't need you to put a knife in my brownies and write...
10:47Clean your...
10:48Don't ever touch my stuff.
10:57I don't need you to put a knife in my brownies.
11:00And write...
11:00Clean your...
11:01Don't ever touch my stuff.
11:03Cassie will not do her dishes.
11:05So I wrote with a knife in her brownies.
11:07It was supposed to be like a joke.
11:09Did I ruin it?
11:09Did I piss on her by it?
11:10I used my finger in your finger.
11:11You went like this?
11:12I used a knife.
11:13There are obviously many different levels of maturity and experience in this house,
11:18whether it comes to what kind of sense of humor we have or how often we want to wash our dishes.
11:21We are not the same kinds of people, but respect.
11:25Tespeito is the issue.
11:27Moving on.
11:27Coming up.
11:28I don't like a lot of drama coming from girls, but with Ann, that's non-avoidable here.
11:41I don't know why they think that I'm the only one that doesn't clean my dishes,
11:45because there's a pile of dishes in the sink right now and none of them are mine.
11:49Fire mail!
11:50Do you have what it takes to rise to the top?
11:53Be ready to prove it at 10 o'clock.
11:55I step off the elevator and I'm like, ah, this is so great!
12:07I am so excited!
12:08We got the rope course, the walls, the tires.
12:11Oh my God!
12:13Everybody's jumping up and down.
12:15Yay!
12:16Yay!
12:17Okay, so why are we excited?
12:19This is an obstacle course.
12:20Good morning, ladies.
12:23I'm Captain Leif Wade, former captain of the United States Marine Corps.
12:26You are no longer civilians.
12:29You're recruits from Pure Power Boot Camp.
12:31Blah, blah, blah.
12:32Today is about tenacity, strength, loyalty.
12:36When you come across rejection in the modeling world, you cannot quit.
12:40Just like I will not let you quit here today.
12:42It's going to be one of the hardest workouts you've ever done.
12:44I don't like putting on fatigues and acting like I'm going through the jungle killing people.
12:51You know, so I was not excited at all.
12:53I was pumped as hell.
12:54I work out.
12:55I play water bowl.
12:56Actual physical activity, I feed off that.
12:59All right, ladies, fall in.
13:01Watch yourself.
13:02Be safe out here.
13:03Maximum effort.
13:04Three, two, one.
13:06Go!
13:08I got what you need, good.
13:09Oh, sorry.
13:11I got what you need, good.
13:12Oh!
13:12Oh!
13:14One, kick that.
13:17Nice!
13:18Two!
13:18Everything I've ever done, I've been good at or one of the best people.
13:22Sports, whatever.
13:23I do feel extreme competitive energy from Anne.
13:27She's the top athlete, and I'm maybe seen as another physical person because I dance.
13:34Pull, pull, pull.
13:35Come on, Cassie.
13:36Get up, get up, Cassie.
13:37Come on.
13:38Cassie didn't want to participate, and so she was doing things kind of minimally.
13:43Cassie, let's go.
13:44Come on.
13:45What are you proud of here today?
13:47Nothing, because if I wanted to get in the military, I would have signed up for the military.
13:49I'm not here to get in the military.
13:51Cassie is the biggest punk I have ever met.
13:54I don't want to do this anymore.
13:55Look over and start doing push-ups.
13:57I wanted the sergeant to really just drill her and yell at her and say, you suck, you maggot.
14:04Get up.
14:04Shut up.
14:06This is dumb.
14:06This is really cheesy.
14:08I really don't want to be here right now.
14:10I want to go home.
14:11I want to go back to Oklahoma right now.
14:12Balance, focus.
14:14I think the point was to teach us tenacity and endurance, and when it seems extremely
14:20hard, don't give up.
14:22There you go.
14:24All right, ladies, listen up.
14:24Hey, some did an amazing job out here today, some didn't do so well, and you will see
14:29me again.
14:31We leave the boot camp.
14:33Bye.
14:34We drive to another location.
14:40Here is Captain Wade again.
14:42Hi, ladies.
14:43Hello, ladies.
14:44Hello, Kevin.
14:45Didn't think you'd see me so soon?
14:46No.
14:47Your challenge today is a race to the top of the stairs in this 14-story high-rise.
14:53We're like, are you kidding me?
14:56The winner will be based on the best individual time.
14:59Whoever wins this will be greatly rewarded.
15:02So battle it out amongst yourselves, and we'll see who has what it takes to make it to the top.
15:08Stairs suck, and I hate them.
15:10I just looked at it like, oh, I can do this.
15:11It was really just me and Yara that were like, let's do this.
15:15Like, you know, I was excited.
15:17So we go up five stairs.
15:18One by one.
15:19I'm first.
15:21Go!
15:21Go, Yara!
15:24Go!
15:25Go!
15:26Go!
15:27Go!
15:29Go!
15:36I'm running.
15:37I'm running.
15:37I'm running.
15:38I don't have no more breath.
15:41It's really hard, because I'm not an athlete in the flex fit.
15:49I did pretty good.
15:50I got to the stand on the floor before I was like, ugh.
15:54Even when I wanted to stop on the stair row, I didn't.
15:58And I might have slowed down, but I didn't just stop.
16:02I don't fail at things.
16:04I don't not finish things.
16:05I was wheezing like, ugh.
16:07I could barely breathe, you know, because I didn't want to finish last.
16:101.33.
16:14Top model needs to look good on a moment's notice.
16:16You now have a photo shoot.
16:19You have to be kidding me.
16:21I can't even breathe.
16:26So I just decided, hell, I'm going to smile on these pictures.
16:29You have a photo shoot.
16:39A photo shoot now?
16:40Yeah.
16:45The real challenge is, if I'm on a photo shoot after not having slept, after not having eaten,
16:50whoo, it's not good.
16:53It's important to be able to just have that endurance.
16:57Good.
16:57She's now a photo shoot.
16:59You know, the most important thing to me is to have a good picture.
17:02I've only had one where they actually were like, that's beautiful, we like it.
17:06You now have a photo shoot.
17:08Okay.
17:16You got a photo shoot.
17:18No, I don't.
17:19Oh, yeah.
17:19Come on.
17:20Come on.
17:20No, I don't.
17:21I'm just posing.
17:22I think that photo shoot sucked.
17:30On your feet, ladies.
17:33None of you quit, all right, which is the most important thing here.
17:36The times are very close.
17:38In ninth place is Kelly, 2.34.
17:40I wasn't really expecting to win because there were so many girls far more athletic than me.
17:45Eighth, Narelle.
17:46Seventh, Takara.
17:47Good for Takara, but how does Narelle and Kelly feel that they just lost, you know,
17:51a girl that weighs 50 more pounds than them?
17:54Sixth, Amanda.
17:55Fifth, Cassie.
17:56I was just happy I got to the top and didn't finish last.
18:00Fourth is Nicole.
18:01Third is Eva.
18:02It was between Yaya and...
18:05Today's winner...
18:09Yaya.
18:10One point, one zero.
18:12Yeah!
18:13Now, Yaya, you get to pick one person.
18:17I pick Takara!
18:20All right.
18:20Takara was one of the people that really exemplified not giving up and surpassing expectations.
18:26You two beautiful ladies are going to enjoy a wonderful, beautiful evening here at Clay Spa
18:31up here on this roof deck.
18:33Ooh!
18:34The rest of you ladies are not so lucky.
18:37You have to walk home.
18:41After that brutal day we had...
18:44Does anyone even know which way we're supposed to go?
18:46Right or right?
18:47Right?
18:47Yeah, maybe right.
18:48Make up right.
18:49So, Yaya and Takara got to stay and do their little facials.
18:56The person that needed the facial got the facial.
19:03Adventures for the blind children.
19:05How far is it in the house?
19:08The house?
19:09The house is on 2nd Street and we're like negative 10.
19:12And 20 blocks in New York equals one mile.
19:15Yeah.
19:19Every panel I've been criticized for letting my dancer-ishness shine through.
19:27When I looked at the picture, I did not see a model.
19:30It was too dancer.
19:31It was almost too dramatic.
19:32What I'm struggling with right now is how to set aside something that is so much a part
19:40of me.
19:41Right.
19:41You know, like the definition of Yaya dances up there.
19:44I think I had the Hollywood image of New York City in my head.
19:53And when I came here, I was so disappointed by it.
19:55It's hard to come here and see just this big place where it's really dirty and it's really
20:00expensive.
20:01You guys, we're going to make a left in this corner.
20:03Kelly was our tour guide.
20:04Well, this is all called Greenwich Village.
20:07Follow me ladies, follow me again.
20:09Finally, there's something I can do.
20:19Happiness to me is just that feeling that can't be described.
20:22And it's not here right now.
20:24I don't want to live in New York City if I don't have that feeling in my heart, you
20:27know, and I, right now, I don't have it.
20:29Being in this competition, I don't have it.
20:31New York is not as glamorous as I pictured it to be.
20:33And that's why I think I'm so disappointed.
20:35Because it was always like my dream city that I never thought I would get to go to.
20:38And now I'm here and I hate it.
20:40I feel like all my spirit is gone here.
20:43Be a trip, brother.
20:44I'll try my best.
20:46Try my best.
20:47Will you be mad if I come home early?
20:58You guys, Tyrant Mail, lights, camera, action.
21:02Tomorrow, get a jump start to your day and be ready at 7.30.
21:06Okay.
21:17Good morning.
21:18So, I know you guys are already thinking, what the heck?
21:22Now, some of you still have issues posing on the ground, but today, it's even more challenging
21:27because you need to learn how to pose while in flight in the air.
21:32Honestly, my heart stopped.
21:33I'm definitely afraid of airplanes.
21:35So, of course, to do this shoot right, I had to get a photographer that shot Tyra, and
21:39his name is Sasha Flay.
21:40This is going to be really demanding physically today.
21:42I hope you all have a lot of energy.
21:44Let's go.
21:45All right.
21:45Let's do it.
21:48We were thinking that we were going to, like, bungee jump from an airplane, like, over the
21:52water, land on a boat with a thing of yogurt or something.
21:55We had no idea.
21:57Hey, Danilo, Matthew, can I take those girls for me for just a second?
22:00Okay.
22:01The shoot today is for YJ Stinger.
22:03It's an energy drink.
22:04So, this is an action shot today, all right?
22:07We have a big trampoline.
22:08The trampoline of doom.
22:10And you have to learn how to bounce, giving me face, giving me body in the air, okay?
22:16I just, I don't deal well with, like, yeah, you're doing great because I'm not really doing
22:19great.
22:20So, tell me, like, you're not doing this right as opposed to, like, yeah, you're doing
22:23great and then expecting me to do better.
22:25But, you know, at the same time, Kelly, I can't baby you through every frame.
22:28Tired of talking about Kelly.
22:29I'm tired of talking to Kelly.
22:30I'm tired of seeing Kelly cry.
22:32Except for the fact that I can't take a good picture.
22:34But now I'm trying to work on that.
22:36And I keep on with it.
22:37Whatever.
22:38I need help.
22:39I've never done this before.
22:40If I could take perfect photos, I knew what I was doing.
22:43I'd be in an agency.
22:44She wasn't saying, baby me along.
22:46All she was saying was, if she's doing bad, don't tell her she's doing good.
22:49All right.
22:50Let's go.
22:51Three.
22:52Good.
22:53Three.
22:54Good face.
22:55Cassie seemed very comfortable jumping up and down.
22:58And there were some really nice moves and some really beautiful tricks.
23:01But Jessie didn't have a lot of variety.
23:05One.
23:06Two.
23:07Three.
23:07Nice.
23:08Eva was excited.
23:10And she really gave me energy.
23:12She's good.
23:13She's really nice.
23:13She's pretty.
23:14But it's just not a lot of range.
23:16That's high.
23:17Perfect.
23:18That's a good thing.
23:19And we are in agreement.
23:20This is her outfit.
23:21All right.
23:22One.
23:23Two.
23:25Three.
23:25For being a little bigger girl, Takara was really good.
23:30Good.
23:30It's tricky on the trampoline.
23:32You have to keep a lot of factors in mind.
23:33The dress, the products you're selling, your face.
23:39Do different stuff with your arms.
23:40And remember that you got to present the can.
23:42Morella's a little bit scrawny and a little bony.
23:45But for her, in this situation, made it even more difficult to find a very nice, good-looking, elegant position.
23:51What's wrong with me?
23:53Hi, Kelly.
23:54Hi, Kelly.
23:55I had a really cute dress I was so tight to wear.
23:58And I start jumping, and my entire top comes out of my dress.
24:04Okay, don't keep doing it, please.
24:06This is the problem.
24:08Look at the top.
24:08Look.
24:11Wardrobe.
24:12And so, Michelle has to try to find another dress.
24:15You're bouncing around in there, nothing's happening?
24:19Please.
24:20Just keep your legs up.
24:21Straight looking at the lights.
24:23Just, yeah.
24:23And look into the light.
24:26Just throw your neck back a little bit.
24:28Kelly is just so self-conscious that she flunks as a model when she gets in front of the camera.
24:33I don't really have anything positive to go on as to why I am here.
24:39I mean, it's really hard, especially when you're looking in the mirror, and, you know, you're breaking your face part.
24:44And you just wonder, how can I ever make this look pretty on film?
24:47And then you get here, and you can't.
24:50It's really hard.
24:52It's really hard.
24:52Let me see, honey.
24:54Turn around.
24:56Yeah, and then you're going to jump.
24:57Like, hold it and jump, let's say.
24:58I want to make sure.
24:59Oh!
25:00I keep forgetting you girls are so tall.
25:01I have to prove that I deserve to be here, because I've only had one good picture out of all the shoots we've done.
25:09One, two, three, four.
25:11Ann didn't seem to be bothered by hurting herself, so she really gave a lot into it.
25:20Are you all right?
25:21Yeah.
25:21Less is more.
25:23Less is more.
25:24Okay.
25:25Ann was just a big flop.
25:30Literally, she flopped.
25:31She scraped her chin.
25:32She scraped her elbows.
25:33She looks a mess.
25:35I tried to fly, and I don't know if it worked or not.
25:38She's got that face, that, that's Ann.
25:42Oh, is it bleeding?
25:43A little bit.
25:45Shape, we want a little tighter right there.
25:48According to some of the panelists, my photos look like a dancer.
25:53And some of them I like that the panel didn't like.
25:55Yeah.
25:56And some of them the panel left that I don't like.
25:58God bless the panel.
26:01Any instinctual poses that I would do might have traces of dance-ceration in it,
26:07so I tried to strip that away.
26:09And I think it ended up making my shoot a little bit boring.
26:14Yaya took her advice from the panel and took it to the extreme,
26:17which in that case isn't helping her.
26:21Amanda was beautiful.
26:23She had it all.
26:24She showed a lot of variety, and she worked with her body.
26:27She's kicking ass.
26:28She is kicking major ass.
26:29Amanda, go home.
26:30Amanda was doing dancer-like poses, and Yaya was getting pissy over there.
26:34You okay?
26:35It's so funny.
26:37This is just funny.
26:39This is funny.
26:40It's the fear.
26:41To me, I can't do dancer poses.
26:42I watched they love Amanda's poses.
26:44Come here for a second, please.
26:46I just want you to understand, like, you super impressed me.
26:49I didn't say a word.
26:51In my opinion, you're the only one who got this today.
26:53And I haven't commented on anyone today.
26:55Thank you so much.
26:56That means a lot.
26:57I'm really mad that I didn't do what I wanted to.
26:59You know what I'm saying?
27:00Yaya goes, well, they tell me I can't do dancer-like poses,
27:04so it's always an excuse for everything.
27:06It can't be because you're not perfect.
27:09No.
27:09Miss Yaya doesn't think so.
27:11Afterward, I did some cool stuff,
27:13and Jay was like, why didn't you do that up there?
27:15Every week, I get the same comment.
27:17Like, there goes that dancer thing.
27:18You shouldn't take everything as a hard and fast rule,
27:21because you know what?
27:21In this world, 10 people are going to say,
27:23don't do this, don't do this, don't do this, don't do this.
27:26You know what you're going to end up with?
27:27Nothing to do.
27:29Hmm.
27:37Tyra now!
27:38No, no!
27:39Tomorrow, you meet with the judges.
27:40Only eight of you will continue on.
27:42In hopes of becoming America's next top model,
27:44one of you will be eliminated.
27:45It's getting down to the wire that there are enough people
27:47that are doing consistently good
27:48that you can't afford to have a bad week here,
27:50so I will be nervous.
28:00Hello, everybody.
28:02Hello, everybody.
28:03This week, you learned all about fitness
28:05and the importance of being motivated and wanting it.
28:09But now it's time to make our sixth cut
28:11towards determining who will become America's next top model.
28:14We have some amazing prizes,
28:16a model contract with the top international modeling agency,
28:20Ford Models,
28:21a spread in Elle magazine
28:23with world-renowned photographer,
28:24Gilles Benzema,
28:25and a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics.
28:30Wow.
28:31And, of course, you know, we have some judges.
28:34First is Miss Janice Dickinson.
28:36Janice is the very first supermodel ever to exist on this planet.
28:40We also have Nigel Barker, a noted fashion photographer,
28:43Nolay Maren, a prominent fashion editor and stylist.
28:47How are you, ladies?
28:48Minnie says hi.
28:48Hey!
28:49And our guest judge for this week is Kate Dillon,
28:53who is a fellow top model herself.
28:55Hi, you guys.
28:56You guys look amazing.
28:57What makes a top model is her ability to be on point,
29:01no matter how tired or exhausted she is.
29:03So we had a photographer standing by to take your picture
29:06after you ran up 14 flights of stairs.
29:11That day you're getting photographed is your test today.
29:16You will also be tested on your photo that you took on a trampoline for YJ Singer.
29:20We have randomly drawn names.
29:22And, Norelle, you're first.
29:26All right, Norelle, so here is your exhausted photo shoot.
29:31Wow.
29:32She doesn't look exhausted.
29:33She looks like she's in pain.
29:35I actually like it.
29:36I think it's extremely modern, kind of grungy looking.
29:40All right, Norelle, so you had a photo shoot where you had to jump on a trampoline.
29:43And let's see how you did.
29:45Lovely.
29:46Wow, Norelle.
29:46Beautiful.
29:47Amazing.
29:47Very well.
29:48Your face looks very relaxed, which I think is very difficult
29:50when you're tensing your muscles and jumping.
29:52I'm very impressed.
29:54Kelly.
29:56It's really bad.
29:58I'm sorry.
29:58I can't even look at it.
30:00It's that bad.
30:01Looking at you, you've got a great body.
30:03In this picture here, that legs actually look big.
30:05Your stomach looks big.
30:06Your gut's hanging out.
30:08You know, A for effort, but F for in product.
30:12Too contrived.
30:14You're thinking about it all too much.
30:15We've never seen expression in your face.
30:17It's always the same.
30:18Norelle, what did you do before you came here?
30:19What was your life about?
30:20Um, I actually own an art gallery.
30:22Have you heard of expressionism?
30:24Yeah.
30:24Here.
30:25Yeah.
30:26All righty, up next we have Nicole.
30:29You don't really look like a model in this picture.
30:33Every time a camera's on you, you should always try to strike a pose,
30:36because you never know.
30:37Yes.
30:37I mean, I'm with this girl a lot.
30:39Even when we do snapshots.
30:40Yeah.
30:40She turns it up.
30:41I'm like, oh, I'm like, oh, but I think I'm good.
30:42She snaps it up like amazing.
30:44Oh, my God, that's fierce.
30:46What?
30:47Fierce.
30:48You know what I like about it?
30:49That it doesn't look like some of the girls.
30:50They held it like, hey, why J. Stinger?
30:53You know, and that's not fashion.
30:55This is fashion.
30:57Up next we have Takara.
31:01Look at that.
31:02The intensity with no hair and makeup.
31:04So you had a photo shoot on a trampoline.
31:08You look kind of like a raging bull.
31:10Flaring nostrils.
31:11I don't know about this.
31:12You have what a lot of plus-size models have,
31:14which is a sense of freedom in their body,
31:16and that kind of energy obviously really shows through.
31:19Cassie.
31:21I think the poses are a little too model-y.
31:24A little too like, here's your best shot.
31:27Help me.
31:28I like it.
31:30Wow, I look scary.
31:31You look like you belong in a cornfield,
31:34like scaring crows away.
31:38Photographer said that Cassie looks tired and weak
31:40and not sure if she really wants to be here.
31:42What's up with that?
31:44I don't know.
31:45Eva.
31:46Well, how did you feel?
31:47Tired.
31:48I gagged.
31:48That was one of the few girls I gagged.
31:50The fact that you're about to be sick,
31:51I mean, this is, yeah, it's pretty pulled together.
31:54You look beautiful.
31:555'11 in this photograph.
31:57You look 5'11 in this shorty girl.
31:58Can we see a close-up?
32:00You can't do the flared nostril thingy anymore.
32:02You just have to bring your head down a little
32:03and kind of keep the nose together.
32:06All righty, Amanda, here are your three shots.
32:09Not bad.
32:09Not bad at all.
32:10Not bad at all.
32:11Beautiful.
32:12One of the most startling things about this is
32:13probably what makes your pictures great are your eyes.
32:15And you really can't see them in any of the pictures
32:17and you still look good.
32:19Gorgeous.
32:21You've got a classic, timeless look here.
32:23The photographer's comments were that
32:24you were the superstar of the shoot.
32:26All righty, up next we have Yaya.
32:30So, you won the race.
32:32And here are your three pictures from it.
32:34It's very sportsperson kind of photographs, but...
32:36Beautiful.
32:37That's nice.
32:37That's awesome.
32:40No, it's not working.
32:41This photo shoot was such an experiment for me.
32:44I went into it thinking,
32:46don't do anything dancey at all.
32:48And I was mad at myself for a moment.
32:50And you should have been mad at yourself.
32:52Yours were the worst out of the lot.
32:54There's an art to taking advice.
32:56When someone tells you don't look like a dancer,
32:58it means less Cirque du Soleil, more couture.
33:01You understand?
33:01So, what you did is you threw everything out the window.
33:04You want to take your strength as an athlete,
33:06your strength as a dancer, your eloquence,
33:08and then translate it into fashion.
33:10It's hard finding that balance, you know?
33:13Yeah.
33:15I'd like to see that in pictures.
33:17That was good.
33:19But, yeah, it's deep.
33:20I'm going to find the balance.
33:21What do you think about that picture?
33:22Oh, I don't like it.
33:24I don't like it either.
33:24Yeah, yeah, thanks.
33:26Last, we have Anne.
33:28You had a photo shoot where you had to hide
33:3014 flights of stairs.
33:31And here are your three shots.
33:33Somebody's tired.
33:35That's pedestrian.
33:37Mouth is a little open.
33:38You just don't know who you are as a model.
33:40You're not getting it.
33:41Here is your best shot.
33:43Dude, that scares me too.
33:45I don't like this very much.
33:46Anne, I mean, you're so gorgeous.
33:49But it's not coming across in these photos at all.
33:51You are working here.
33:52Photograph is not working.
33:54And there's no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
33:56It sucks.
33:57Sorry.
34:01Yeah, yeah.
34:02I hope she doesn't lose her dance training too much.
34:05It's about moderation.
34:06Know when to turn it on, when to turn it off.
34:08Amanda.
34:09Going through the film, I was like, whoa.
34:11This looks like the pictures of girls that I work with.
34:13Nicole.
34:13I have not been a big fan of Nicole at all.
34:16But in this image, she slams it.
34:19Never give up on top model.
34:20Norel.
34:21Norel really did a good job in this picture.
34:23Norel is in.
34:24Takara.
34:25I'm always going to be on her side.
34:26Because you're a plus-sized girl, honey.
34:27That's right, honey.
34:28I'm proud of it.
34:29Takara's photographs incredibly well normally.
34:32This is just not her genre.
34:34Eva.
34:35I absolutely adore Eva.
34:37I think she has a lot going for her.
34:38Eva's in.
34:39Anne.
34:39I don't think Anne is photogenic.
34:41And it's such a disappointment.
34:43I think Anne is photogenic.
34:45She just doesn't know what the hell to do with her face or her body.
34:48I feel like her and Kelly are neck and neck.
34:50Pretty girls don't know how to model.
34:53Kelly.
34:53Whatever she does, she overthinks it and sort of screws it up.
34:56I think she sees it like the way I can look at Picasso and say, oh, that's a great piece of artwork.
35:00But I don't know how to do that.
35:02I think she does have a pretty face.
35:03And she's certainly lovely in person.
35:05I think she should go back to her art gallery and sell art for the rest of her life.
35:08Cassie.
35:08Cassie doesn't have a clue of what a model is about.
35:13And this photograph proves it.
35:14Her face looks sort of almost dead.
35:16I'm very surprised.
35:17She's a really pretty, pretty girl.
35:19If Cassie had more life behind her eyes, I might see more of her beauty.
35:23She's just blah.
35:24Nine beautiful ladies stand before me.
35:34But I only have eight photos in my hands.
35:38And these photos represent the eight of you that will still be in the running towards becoming America's next top model.
35:44Eva.
35:45This picture is absolutely beautiful.
35:52Congratulations.
35:53You're still in the running towards becoming America's next top model.
35:56You're welcome.
36:00Amanda.
36:02Nicole.
36:04Congratulations.
36:06Yaya.
36:10Yaya, you know exactly what I'm going to say to you.
36:12It's all about balance and taking critique and taking it all in.
36:18And then doing the sum of that and coming up with what works for you.
36:22Congratulations.
36:23You're still in the running towards becoming America's next top model.
36:28Takara.
36:31Norell.
36:33Congratulations.
36:34You're still in the running towards becoming America's next top model.
36:37Welcome.
36:37The next name that I'm going to call is Cassie.
36:50Cassie, you look amazing.
36:52You look like a real model.
36:54I notice a certain sadness with you.
36:56I think maybe talking to someone, you can kind of get that out.
36:59Congratulations.
37:00You're welcome.
37:02Well, Anne and Kelly, please step forward.
37:07I only have one photo in my hands.
37:11And this photo represents the girl that will continue on in the running towards becoming America's next top model.
37:16I will only call one name.
37:19The girl's name I do not call must immediately return to your apartment, pack your belongings, and leave.
37:27I've never had to do this before, but I'm giving both of you the exact same critique.
37:33Both of you, absolutely beautiful girls to the eye, but it doesn't translate to your photographs.
37:44You all are the walking signpost for pretty girl, not photogenic.
37:51But the judges feel that one of you may have a little bit more potential than the other.
38:05Congratulations, Anne.
38:08You're still in the running towards becoming America's next top model.
38:12Thanks, Kelly.
38:13I would have liked to keep trying, get on the same hand.
38:19There's only so much humiliation I can take.
38:22Maybe I'm not good at this, and this isn't what I'm supposed to do.
38:25You know what?
38:26Everyone's meant to model.
38:27I've hit rock bottom, and I've been called some really bad things.
38:31And I've grown from it.
38:32You know, I guess they say, like, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
38:34Stay tuned for scenes from our next episode.
38:51Here's what's coming up on America's Next Top Model.
38:54The girls get their party on.
38:56We all jump in the hot tub.
38:57It just brings out your bad side.
39:00Just wear the dress and look beautiful.
39:02From Diane von Furstenberg to Cynthia Rowley, the girls meet some of New York's top designers.
39:07Do you think that I'm going to be able to get a rack like this in your size?
39:11But is high fashion ready for plus size Takara?
