00:03Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair continue gaining each other's trust,

00:06while Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez keep building on their forced partnership.

00:10These new partners now find themselves in the biggest event of the summer,

00:13fighting for a title.

00:15The WWE Women's Tag Team Championship is on the line next.

00:30Now, now, all hail the queen.

01:00The following content is scheduled for one call.

01:29It's for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

01:37Introducing first-step challengers the team of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.

01:47So, Wade, you've been following the story on Friday Night SmackDown.

01:50Have Charlotte and Alexa actually become friends?

01:54Well, they will never admit it.

01:56But the fact that they're walking out here at SummerSlam side by side after tagging

02:01together on a couple of occasions previously tells me that they might not want to admit it.

02:07But they certainly see something special in one another.

02:10And they've started to enjoy each other's company.

02:13No woman in history has won more matches at SummerSlam than Charlotte Flair.

02:21She has won five times at this event.

02:24It's her first SummerSlam in two years.

02:28Alexa Bliss is second on the all-time win list at SummerSlam.

02:32It's the first time she's been part of this event in four years.

02:37An opportunity for these two tonight to win tag team gold.

02:43And it is unheard of that somebody can win the Royal Rumble as Charlotte Flair did this year.

02:49Yet you can still say she has had a horrible 20-25.

02:54She lost to Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania.

02:57She failed to qualify for Money in the Bank.

03:00She lost out in the Queen of the Ring tournament.

03:03It's been a disaster.

03:04And the one thing capable of turning that around

03:08has been her lapsed friendship with Alexa Bliss.

03:11And their opponents representing the Judgment Day.

03:37They are the Women's Tag Team Champions, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Ruiz.

04:02No woman in history has held more tag team titles than Raquel Rodriguez.

04:06She won the latest version of the titles with Liv Morgan.

04:10Liv, however, is out with a shoulder injury.

04:12Roxanne Perez, the newest member of Judgment Day, would fill that slot.

04:16And they're 4-0 since teaming together,

04:20just being their third title defense as a team.

04:23It's another unlikely tandem.

04:25And being Mammy cool, Raquel Rodriguez was not key on Roxanne Perez,

04:31slipping into Liv Morgan's shoes initially.

04:35However, these two hit a rich vein of form when things really counted at the recent Evolution.

04:42Pete Ali taking out three top tag teams from all the brands in WWE and stamping their authority on those championships.

04:51Also had another victory over the multi-time tag champs, the Kabuki Warriors.

04:56Hoping to retain tonight in what is the first SummerSlam appearance for both Raquel Rodriguez and

05:01Roxanne Perez here tonight.

05:05So if you're the champs, Raquel and Roxanne, how do you combat the experience of Charlotte and Alexa?

05:10Yeah, that was the question of all time, because on paper, clearly, as singles competitors,

05:17Alexa and Charlotte have the massive upper hand.

05:20However, who's the proven commodity in the tag ranks?

05:23You have to say, with all the lack of experience together they have still, it's Roxanne and Raquel.

05:29And a little miscommunication there, Wade, but between who was gonna start this match,

05:33Alexa or Charlotte, and Roxanne and Raquel, ever the wiser, would take advantage.

05:37That's it, with limited reps together, both teams have to figure out who has the most chemistry together

05:43right now, and it appears to be the champs.

05:46On the Judgment Day, full of gold, of course, the women's tag titles, the men's tag titles,

05:50Dominic Mysterio, the Intercontinental Champion, defends tomorrow night against AJ here on SummerSlam Sunday.

05:56Alexa Bliss sends Roxanne across the ring.

06:00Tag made, here comes the queen, the 14-time world champion Charlotte Flair,

06:05who admitted that teaming with Alexa has really changed her outlook on life and business here in WWE.

06:12She said, really, the first time in her career, she's having fun.

06:15And Charlotte's had to eat some humble pie so far in 2025.

06:19And the person who pulled her out of the funk really is Alexa Bliss.

06:22And Charlotte Flair, back to having fun is the most dangerous kind of Charlotte Flair there is.

06:29But what a clubbing clothesline there for Big Manny Cool.

06:33Yeah, Roxanne Perez, so wise beyond her years, had the official Jessica Carr distracted,

06:38while Raquel would deliver the clothesline.

06:41And now Rodriguez has really come into her own in 2025.

06:46Yes, she has.

06:48And I will say, Raquel Rodriguez completely lost her confidence when she transitioned from NXT to the main roster.

06:54So dominant in NXT, winning the Women's Championship there, and it's taken a long time to find her footing,

07:01but finding it in a big way over the past couple of months.

07:03Not many people can go toe to toe with Charlotte like Raquel did there.

07:09And a big kick by Charlotte.

07:11Raquel sees herself as the alpha female of WWE.

07:16Flair trying to launch herself over the top rope, Raquel caught her and delivered Samoan drop.

07:21And here's the cover, the tag, I should say, to Roxanne Perez.

07:24Roxanne the Prodigy, an incredible 2025.

07:29Here's the hook of the leg to retain and a kick out by Charlotte.

07:33Her year started setting a record, lasting longer in the Royal Wumble match than any woman in history.

07:39And after that, incredible performances in the elimination chamber and money in the bank as well.

07:45Capped off, of course, by slipping into the void left by Liv Morgan seamlessly and grabbing gold.

07:51And a cheap shot by Raquel, and I agree, she slipped into it.

07:54But Roxanne has proven she belongs as a tag champ.

07:58No doubt about it.

07:59She wouldn't be wearing the gold right now if she hadn't.

08:02We saw the performances this tag team at Evolution.

08:05They had to be the best of the best.

08:07It was no easy task.

08:09The gauntlet was laid down by GM Nick Aldis.

08:12And these two were ready to seize the moment.

08:15Yeah, it was a fatal four-way match.

08:16So these two could prove that they could handle being tag team champions.

08:22Now Raquel controlling Charlotte Flair.

08:26Again, no woman in history has held more tag titles than Raquel Rodriguez.

08:30Five times this level, two times down at NXT.

08:35Raquel having to step up to that leadership role in this tag team after the injury to Liv Morgan

08:41has really been the making of Raquel.

08:44It's now or never.

08:45It's do or die.

08:46Step up or get stepped on.

08:49Raquel Rodriguez has risen to every challenge thus far, but tonight is a big one.

08:56Classic Charlotte as she sends Raquel into the top turnbuckle.

09:01And now Flair, former tag champ in her own right, sends Raquel across the ring.

09:06And now trying to make a tag to her partner Alexa Bliss.

09:08Roxanne Perez is legal, and she just prevents Charlotte fingertips away from a tag.

09:13Yeah, what a scramble that was by Roxanne Perez.

09:16So smart, so crafty, right on the money there, but it wasn't enough.

09:20And here's the tag to Bliss, and Alexa Bliss, the former five-time world

09:24champion is now into the ring.

09:26She's won a Money in the Bank and Elimination Chamber.

09:28She's a three-time tag champion now unloading on Perez.

09:33Alexa Bliss in a really entertaining interview with Fox News earlier this week,

09:37talked about how excited she is to be here tonight.

09:40It's been a long time since she was at SummerSlam.

09:44She said she loves being with Charlotte because she's so passionate and loves what she does.

09:48And now Bliss has the WWE fans on their feet.

09:51Cover by Bliss, and Raquel Rodriguez breaks things up.

09:57Well, the numerous double-team efforts by Raquel and Roxanne, most of them behind the referees back thus far.

10:04And it's changed the game each time, but it seems Alexa Bliss has had enough.

10:09And now Roxanne from behind, roll up, shoulders down, almost had her.

10:13Look at her sister Abigail, and Perez rakes the eyes of Bliss.

10:20Yeah, referee completely unsighted on that eye rake.

10:24Now that running forearm by Roxanne in the back of the neck of Perez, and now the, uh-oh.

10:30Moonsault misses, Raquel makes the tag.

10:33Perez is so devious, what a nice effort against Alexa Bliss, and now the powerhouse, Raquel back in there.

10:39Ooh!

10:40Well-placed foot right to the ear, and now Bliss drops Perez.

10:44And now Big Mommy Cool is all wobbling.

10:50Brains are scrambled, and Alexa Bliss going skyward.

10:53Alexa top rope, looking for Twisted Bliss, but Roxanne Wise got the knees up to the mid section.

11:00And now a clothesline by Raquel Rodriguez will quell any momentum that Bliss had.

11:05Stack up for the win, kick in two.

11:09Yeah, this one's turned so chaotic, temporarily, it would appear Alexa Bliss locks track of who the

11:15legal competitor was, went for Roxanne, when it was in fact Raquel who was legal and managed to capitalize.

11:22And now Raquel looking to outpower the much smaller Bliss.

11:27Alexa though with a ton of fight in her, now Dredge back to the corner.

11:31So hard to stay focused in the fog of war, and that really cost Bliss here, and

11:35it may be downward from here on.

11:38Perez, catapulted into the corner, as is Raquel Rodriguez.

11:43Tag team champs working so well together.

11:45Yeah, this is seamless right now.

11:47Side rushing leg sweep, and a big boot to match that cover, kick at two.

11:52And the official Jessica Carr sending Charlotte out of the ring,

12:00obviously concerned for the damage that Bliss has been going through.

12:03Flurry of offense being thrown the way of Alexa Bliss here, and

12:13there's very little coming back in the opposite direction.

12:16That has to be frustrating to Charlotte Flair, who sees her opportunity for gold

12:22slipping away as the seconds tick by.

12:25And I am just continuing to be impressed with the prodigy, Roxanne Perez.

12:31It's one thing having that much athleticism you expect out of someone so youthful,

12:36but it's the tactical nows that goes with it.

12:38The vindictiveness, the knowing when to strike.

12:42Roxanne Perez really has it all at such a young age.

12:46It's something you can't teach, right?

12:47I mean, you just have, you have that instinct,

12:49that killer instinct that Roxanne has.

12:51The best coaches can bring that all of you.

12:55Roxanne Perez has it in abundance.

12:58Talks a lot about the fact that she wouldn't be here without the Hall of Famer Booker T,

13:02and everything he did for her early on in her career.

13:05What's crazy about Perez, she is one of the smaller athletes we have here,

13:08yet she never looks like an underdog.

13:10That is so rare, and that shows how good she is.

13:12Much like the woman in the ring now, Alexa Bliss.

13:14Alexa Bliss, one of the greatest resumes of them all.

13:18But it might not be added to tonight, the way this is looking.

13:21Yeah, Raquel trying to torture Bliss here.

13:23Alexa trying to fight out of this situation.

13:25A gory special perhaps here, Cole.

13:27Uh-oh, trying for a sunset flip.

13:30Raquel misses with the elbow, and now an opportunity for Bliss to make a tag.

13:33Yeah, that's part of the problem with being such a bigger powerhouse athlete.

13:37Sometimes your move can't be telegraphed.

13:40And Bliss managed to do that, but not on the second attempt.

13:43And a shoulder tackle will bring in Perez.

13:46Now, Roxanne with a cover, and a kick out of two.

13:50Solid understanding that this is a critical point in this match for her team.

13:55Well, Raquel really needs to be the leader here,

13:58because Roxanne is starting to show that frustration, the frustration of you.

14:03And you can come unglued very easily, unless you maintain focus here.

14:08And Raquel needs to be a leader.

14:11Roxanne trying to prevent Bliss from making it to the corner.

14:15Again, fingers tipped away from Charlotte Fletch.

14:17Come on, Rich.

14:18Come on, Lexi.

14:19Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on, come on.

14:22Lexi, come on.

14:24Wow, well-placed kick by Perez.

14:29Bliss sent across the ring, able to duck underneath that time.

14:31And now Bliss takes out Perez, and an opportunity now to get to the queen.

14:36Well, both women seem to have the right idea there, but

14:39taking the worst of it was definitely Perez, and there you go.

14:43Charlotte's legal, so's Raquel.

14:45Charlotte Flair, top rope, crossbody to both Raquel and Roxanne.

14:50And Charlotte's fired up.

15:01And a tall line for good measure.

15:10Booed out of every building we went to up until about four weeks ago.

15:15And now this place going bananas once again for Charlotte Flair.

15:20Fall away slam into the kip up by Charlotte.

15:22The weight of the world has left the shoulders of Charlotte Flair.

15:30And can she make good on all her abilities by grabbing gold here?

15:34Well, she's got both Raquel and Roxanne down center of the ring and.

15:38Charlotte gonna go up top.

15:45High risk, but the highest reward of them all awaiting.

15:52A moonsault to both members of the Judgment Day.

15:55Cover on Raquel to win the titles, and a kick out at two by Rodriguez.

15:59And there was not much in that kick out whatsoever.

16:03It was late and it was weak.

16:05Take another look at this, at the effortless athleticism of this woman,

16:10born with the kind of gifts that simply cannot be manufactured.

16:14Surely closing in on something special here, Cole.

16:19You're trying to first hook in the figure four.

16:22And then if she can bridge, Charlotte hit the figure eight by Roxanne Perez.

16:25With that springboard moonsault breaks things up.

16:28And again, I just can't get over the experience that Roxanne Perez has gained here

16:34since coming to Monday Night Raw.

16:35It's just instinctive for Perez at this point to be the woman saving the moment for

16:41your team right as Raquel was in her moment of peril.

16:46And clearly damage has been done to the leg of Raquel.

16:51This is breaking down, referee losing control.

16:53And Roxanne just saved Raquel.

16:56Bliss was trying to bless Raquel on the back of the head.

16:59And she inadvertently took out her partner.

17:02I mean, that was clearly an accident, Wade.

17:05And Roxanne Perez gonna try to take advantage of the situation.

17:08They'll be called allies of convenience, but

17:10the allies may be done after that friendly fire incident.

17:15Here we go.

17:16Looking for the Tejana bomb, tag, delivered by Raquel.

17:23Roxanne's legal.

17:25Up over the top, looking for Pop Rocks.

17:29To retain the titles, and Alexa Bliss saving the matchup for her team.

17:34What a moment for Bliss.

17:41My God, that timing from Bliss, absolute perfection after the miscue moments earlier

17:48that flattened the tag partner.

17:49And now shoulder first to the post goes Raquel.

17:52And the pendulum swinging in a major way.

17:54And Bliss might have to win this one on her own from here.

17:57Raggy Charlotte is clearly shaking up toward the corner, trying to make a tag.

18:02Can she?

18:03And she does.

18:04Bliss is legal.

18:05Flair has no clue where she's at right now.

18:08And now roll up by Roxanne, and a kick out by Bliss in two near fall for the champ.

18:13You are done.

18:18Roxanne runs into a right hand.

18:20Robbing blow to the jaw with all the momentum after hitting the ropes.

18:25And now looking for Sister Abigail.

18:30And Charlotte with a boot to Raquel.

18:39And her sister Abigail.

18:44Charlotte and Bliss are the Tag Team Champions.

18:48Here are your winners and new Women's Tag Team Champions.

18:59Alexa Bliss, Alexa Bliss, and Charlotte Flair.

19:06An odd sequence, an odd sequence at the end of that match wave.

19:10But in the end, Charlotte takes out Raquel.

19:13Bliss hits Sister Abigail.

19:15We got new tag champs.

19:16God, this was the friendly fire moment.

19:19This is when Bliss inadvertently dropped her tag partner, Charlotte Flair.

19:23After that loosest of friendships of late.

19:26Here was Pop Rock's game over, surely.

19:30One, two, enter Alexa Bliss.

19:33Saving the moment for her team.

19:35And this was where we thought Charlotte was coming for a pound of flesh from Alexa Bliss.

19:40We all got that one wrong.

19:42One Sister Abigail DDT later.
