00:00And in Chile, rescue teams continued their search for miners who were trapped Thursday afternoon while working at a depth of 1,200 meters on the expansion of the El Teniente copper mine.
00:11Following a magnitude 4.2 earthquake on the richer scale, the El Teniente mine in central Chile collapsed, trapping five miners.
00:18The accident also left nine injured and one dead.
00:21The mine is operated by state-owned mining company Codelco, the world's largest copper producer.
00:26According to the company, every effort is being made to rescue those trapped.
00:31El Teniente, with 4,500 kilometers of underground galleries, is the largest underground copper deposit on the planet.
